Populations are growing older throughout the developed world.  This makes understanding the role of changing health status, including changing cognitive capacity, at older ages a topic of increasing importance.

The evolution of decision-making skills in late life can have important consequences for many dimensions of household well-being, including household finance, health outcomes, and the prospect of independent living.

To promote research on the links between aging, cognitive ability, and decision-making the Center for Economic and Political Research on Aging (CEPRA) and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER - https://www.nber.org) will host a workshop in Lugano, Switzerland, on April 1-2, 2022.  The meeting will focus on a wide range of issues associated with aging, cognition, and decision-making.

The workshop will be held in person.
Registration is compulsory (please contact [email protected]).
